About the Event
The pre-registered attendees have the opportunity to perform surgical procedures on their own 3D print models. These cases include the models for arterial switch operation in transposition of the great arteries with intact ventricular septum and Taussig-Bing malformation. The hands-on sessions for each case are preceded by didactic lectures on surgical anatomy, as well as discussions on the techniques. Each attendee is provided with the 3D PrintHeart models and surgical patches. It is recommended that the attendee's purchase the 3D PrintHeart Chest-Wall Operating-Table Simulator for an enhanced learning environment. Experienced proctors will be available for valuable advices and guidance throughout the course.
