In-House Monthly Online Hands-On Surgical Training (HOST)

This in-person / online course is the SickKids’ cardiovascular surgical fellows’ training program. We share the program with the surgeons in need for hands-on surgical training. The interested surgeons can attend the course by registering each session as described above. The registered applicants will be provided with the model or models in advance by mail. The attendees will practice the procedure, which will be viewed in real-time by the proctors through a webcam. The proctors will monitor the attendee’s procedure to give technical advice and take questions throughout the session.
